Project Name: Capacity Assessment Sepahan Lube Oil Complex

Owner: Sepahan Oil Company

Project Description

 

Original design of the complex was 184,000 T/year lube oil production, based on the feed stock from Esfahan refinery vacuum distillation units and was put on stream in 1991. Main units of the complex are:

  
 

-- Furfural Extraction Unit

-- MEK Dewaxing Unit

-- Finishing Unit

-- Storage Tanks

-- Blending Unit

-- Canning Drum Manufacturing and Filling

  

 

 

The lube oil complex was revamped and its running capacity is around twice the original design.

The duty of HEIDCO is to study, make test runs and define the ultimate running capacity of the complex and the bottlenecks.
